The Authority wishes to award a two-year call-off contract for the supply of a long reach excavator and operator to work on it's dredger in the completion of the Authority’s annual maintenance dredging requirement which is in the range of 12 000-15 000 m3. It is planned to meet this requirement in a series of separate ‘dredging campaigns’ which will require the hire of a suitable excavator and operator for periods of around 20 days at a time and with an estimated total annual requirement of between 80 and 120 days per annum inclusive of estimated downtime.
