The University of Ulster invites applications from Contractors who would be interested in having their names considered for the Maintenance & Repairs of Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Plant on all the University of Ulster Campuses, these being Jordanstown, Belfast, Coleraine and Magee. It is envisaged that the contract will commence on the 1.8.2012 and expire on the 31.7.2015, with the option to extend by a futher 12 months.
The contract will cover a variety of plant sizes, ranging from 3kW cooling up to approximately 200kW cooling and will include gas fired units. The cooling plant is used in areas such as kitchen cold rooms, computer teaching labs, server rooms etc.
The contract will cover 2 major visits per year for maintenance of all plant, with an additional 2 visits per year for plant regarded as covering critical or high use areas. Fast response emergency breakdown cover is of the essence.
