Derry City Council (The Client) seeks to appoint a Museum Exhibition and Interpretation Designer with Project Management experience to manage a project team and undertake the design, supply and installation of a multi-layered interpretation scheme at the Guildhall.
The Museum Exhibition Design Team should comprise all the necessary museum design services, specialists, suppliers and installation expertise.
The Museum Exhibition and Interpretation Designer will be required to design, scope, plan, supply, install, co-ordinate, cost and maintain budget, tender and supervise all fit-out activities and works on site. The Museum Exhibition and Interpretation Designer will act as the single interface with the Client, Derry City Council’s Heritage and Museum Service.
Applicants/Tenderers are required to clearly identify in their submission the lead consultant, Museum Exhibition and Interpretation Designer and any other specialist consultants, suppliers and installation/fit-out contractors required for the project team.
