The scope of this contract will include the maintenance of all trees in the care of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development as follows:
- The 3 CAFRE (College of agriculture, food and rural enterprise) campuses at Enniskillen, Greenmount and Loughry,
- Approximately 126 forest management units throughout Northern Ireland (see attached map in Appendix A for details),
- Rivers Agency sites across N. Ireland.
The services required under this contract are as follows:
- Directional / sectional felling of trees,
- Crown lifting / thinning / reduction of trees,
- Removal of storm damage and hung up branches,
- Stump removal / grinding,
- Cutting / shaping of hedges.

Precise information on deadline(s) for lodging appeals: CPD will incorporate a standstill period at the point information on the award of the contract is communicated to tenderers. That notification will provide full information on the award decision. The standstill period, which will be for a minimum of 10 calendar days, provides time for unsuccessful tenderers to challenge the award decision before the contract is entered into.
