The works predominantly comprise the installation of new kitchens and bathrooms to mainly general needs properties. Works will also comprise the internal refurbishment of void properties. The contracts to be entered into will be collaborative partnering contracts with the successful bidders expected to provide comprehensive "design & build" services, working in collaboration with Catalyst Housing Group (CHG) and its professional advisers (client representative and CDM co-ordinator). The contracts to be awarded are single term contracts by contract area (lot) whereby each contractor has been awarded the comprehensive term programme of works in each area. The term contracts to be entered into will be the ACA Term Partnering Contract (TPC2005 (Amended 2008)). CHG have awarded the contract dependent upon criteria stated in the invitation to tender (ITT). Only one contract area (lot) was awarded per contractor. The term of the contract will be for an initial period of 5 years with an option to extend for a further 5 years. Annual term reviews will take place throughout the term of the contract and subject to performance criteria set out in the ITT, will determine continuation or termination of the term programme.
