Livin is seeking a contractor/contractors to provide:
Horticultural maintenance of open spaces.
Arboriculture works to trees on open spaces and within enclosed gardens.
A garden maintenance service for vulnerable tenants.
There is around 60 hectares of grass verge and housing estate areas. The existing service comprises general grounds maintenance operations such as grass cutting, shrub/rose/flower bed maintenance, hedge maintenance and weed treatment. Tree maintenance is also included in the service. Livin has undertaken a survey of all trees on its land and this will be used to develop a four year planned programme of tree maintenance.
Livin also operates a vulnerable tenants garden maintenance service (VTGMS) for its vulnerable tenants, which currently covers around 750 properties. This service is limited to grass cutting   hedge trimming.
