NHS Fareham & Gosport CCG is seeking to contract with suitably qualified provider(s) for the delivery of a range of non-emergency patient transport (NE PTS) services for eligible patients, including call handling coordination and transport management.
For the purpose of this Tender, the requirement will be split into a number of lots and bidders will be encouraged to bid for one or more lots. The NE PTS services are for essential transfer of eligible patients between the patient's domicile, hospitals, community settings or other treatment centres including private treatment centres for patients referred for NHS treatments, consultations or procedures.
The patients in scope for this requirement are from the following clinical commissioning groups: NHS Fareham & Gosport, NHS North Hampshire, NHS Portsmouth City, NHS Southampton City, NHS South Eastern Hampshire, NHS West Hampshire, plus eligible patients visiting the mainland from the NHS Isle of Wight CCG.
An OJEU Contract Notice and Supply2Health (S2H) Contract Notice will be published mid September 2013, however, a Market Warming Event is scheduled for 20.8.2013 13:00 - 15:00 hours at the Holiday Inn, Eastleigh, Hampshire and designed to confirm the main elements of the requirement / procurement process and provide the means for potential bidders to network and explore collaborative opportunities.
The likely service commencement date is 1.9.2014 with an initial contract period of 5 years (to be confirmed).
Expressing an interest in this procurement is not yet possible. This Notice is solely to alert potential Bidders to the Market Warming Event.
