Procure Plus (PP) is a social housing regeneration consortium based in the North West of England. Subject to business requirement this alliance may from time to time, include other housing associations in the United Kingdom. This alliance is known collectively as Re:allies. Re:allies brings together expertise from across the North of England to deliver a highly efficient approach to procurement and regeneration at a local level. Further additional consortia may join the Re:allies alliance from time to time. Further background information can also be obtained by visiting www.re:allies.com.
Procure Plus is a regeneration company and social and economic improvement is our fundamental purpose. Our activities support businesses, tenant and community projects to ensure our clients can see the benefit in working with us beyond the achievement of financial savings to a tangible improvement in the well-being of their neighbourhoods. The framework agreements we create successfully leverage our client's demand in the construction and services market and establish a basis to create training and long term employment opportunities for individuals who are furthest from the labour market. For further information on our activities please click http://www.procure-plus.com/CSR-What-we-do
PP wishes to alert the market of its intention to procure a framework agreement that deliberately targets those organisations who can demonstrate they are capable of achieving our regeneration objectives. The organisations appointed to this framework agreement will have the capability to undertake a range of works to social housing properties including but not limited to waste clearance, the installation of security measures to minor and major refurbishment. The nature of the works will require a range of roles that allow individuals to achieve and develop their skills and qualifications so that they can progress from entry level positions through to becoming a qualified tradesperson. The organisations appointed to the respective lots on the framework agreement will actively recruit individuals who require help to obtain the skills they need to successfully enter or return to the labour market and secure long term employment.
PP will be holding Meet the Buyer events in Manchester on the 10th April 2013 and in Cumbria on the 26th April 2013. Interested suppliers can learn more about our organisation, the proposed framework agreement and how they can participate in the forthcoming procurement. The Meet the Buyer events will also include an overview of the company's tender management system and an explanation of the procurement process. Suppliers who are interested in attending either of the events should submit their details at http://tendermanagement.procure-plus.com/register/index/084d82d107. Venue information will be confirmed in due course to all suppliers who register their interest in attending. The Meet the Buyer events will be identical in content therefore it is only necessary to attend one. Suppliers will be asked to select their preference when registering.
