The South East Flexible Ticketing (SEFT) programme objective is to deliver smart ticketing infrastructure and products to the rail network surrounding London. The programme will implement an ITSO ticketing solution to complement the existing Oyster infrastructure deployed in London by Transport for London, and will include elements of future proofing for other technology e.g. EMV. The SEFT programme is likely to include the following areas of procurement:
Host operating and processing system software (HOPS);
Card management system software (CMS);
Smart cards and personalisation services;
Platform validators (PVALs); and
Handheld devices.
The information contained in this notice is subject to change and RSP reserves the right to alter the procurement timing and content in line with the SEFT project requirements. The right to issue contract notices with or without multiple lots is also reserved as is the right to issue more than one contract for specific lots on completion and selection of service providers. It is intended to offer a number of separate contracts across the range of goods and services being procured. Interested suppliers are requested to register an interest in this programme at their earliest convenience, by email, stating the specific area(s) in which they are interested as it is envisaged that tenderer briefings will take place prior to the issue of any contract notices.

This notice replaces the previous notice No 2012/S 170-281721 which is cancelled.

It is currently planned to commence the tendering process in Quarter 1 of 2013. However RSP reserves the right to shorten or lengthen the timescales when the contract notice and subsequent contract documents are issued.
This project is subject to and conditional upon funding by the Department for Transport.
