Home aspires to foster a culture of high design quality to improve the quality of life of our customers, colleagues and communities. To achieve this Home is seeking suitably qualified and experienced multi-disciplinary building consultancy partners for new build and refurbishment works. Consultants are sought who have experience of new build and refurbishment projects.
Organisations responding to this opportunity must be able to provide all of the following services (Core Services) utilising in-house resource:
- cost consultant,
- employer’s agent,
- client representative.
Organisations responding to this opportunity may be able to provide the following services as ‘Optional Additional Services’ utilising in-house resource, but will not be asked to submit commercial fees for:
- CDM coordinator,
- code for sustainable homes assessor- building surveyor,
- site inspector/clerk of works,
- mechanical engineer,
- electrical engineer,
- party wall surveyor,
- right to light surveyor,
- fire risk assessor.
This Framework will not include Structural Engineer services. It is Home’s intention to set up a separate Framework specifically for Structural Engineers.
It is intended to incorporate within the framework a mini tendering mechanism to award future work. Home will reserve the right to directly appoint/award commissions based on previous KPI performance. Home will reserve the right to externally benchmark the framework. Home will reserve the right to re-enter the market place for large joint ventures or large scale regeneration projects. Home will reserve the right to appoint other services (i.e. Clerk of Works, CDM Co-ordinator, Environmental Assessors) outside of the framework. With the uncertainty of future grant funding levels, it is anticipated that the financial nature of the scope of new build and refurbishment may change according to available funding.
Home Group (on behalf of itself and potentially other bodies listed at Section VI.3 - the "eligible bodies”) is seeking to set up this framework under which eligible bodies can procure Architectural services.
