VI.2)Additional information:Each lot specifies details of minimum vehicle size, description of the route, and the annual operational cycle. Lot 8 is a Monday to Saturday route all year round, whereas the other Lots are for school days only. It is also anticipated that Lot 8 will migrate from a service with a single bus to one with two buses during the second year of the contract.

VI.3.2)Lodging of appealsPrecise information on deadline(s) for lodging appeals: Rutland County Council incorporated a minimum 10 day standstill period at the point of notification of the decision to award the contract. The decision notices incorporated the award criteria, the reasons for the decision, the identity of the successful tenderer and a precise statement of when the standstill period was to end. Any appeal or challenge against the award decision would have had to be communicated to the address in section I.1 above within the standstill period. If an appeal or challenge to award the contract has not been successfully resolved the Public Contracts Regulations 2006 (As Amended) provide for aggrieved parties to take action in the High Court. Where a legal challenge is made after the contract has been entered into then that contract could be declared ineffective and / or shortened and / or a fine imposed by the Court.
