Bristol Airport is seeking to appoint a maximum number of 12 contractors, 6 construction and 6 civil under a framework agreement for the development of the airport. The works may comprise the construction of terminal buildings, walkways, terminal piers, car parks (multi storey and ground level), set down areas, enabling works for hotel development, security check points and ancillary works for example, catering facilities, fire stations, office accommodation etc. Infrastructure works including apron extensions and runway renewals.

This will be contained in the PQQ. Consideration will only be given to those applicants who complete and return the PQQ by the required date in full.
III.2.2)Economic and financial abilityInformation and formalities necessary for evaluating if the requirements are met: Applicants must be able to demonstrate that they are able to provide 10 000 000 GBP professional indemnity insurance (each and every claim) and 10 000 000 GBP public liability insurance landside and 40 000 000 GBP airside. Parties who fail to meet the minimum insurance threshold will be excluded from further consideration. Further economic and financial information for evaluation purposes are set out in the PQQ.

Bristol Airport shall not be responsible for any costs, charges or expenses incurred by applicants and no liability is accepted for any costs, charges or expenses, irrespective of the outcome of the competition, or if the competition is cancelled or postponed. Bristol Airport reserve the right to not award any or part of any proposed framework contract.
Applicants should note that the development of the airport is still subject to certain conditions including availability of funding. There is no guarantee of work arising under the framework agreement in relation to a particular project.
