Hampshire County Council Children's Services is considering options for future commissioning arrangements for traditional overnight short breaks for children and young people with a disability.
We currently have a framework agreement with 5 providers who deliver in the region of 3 000 nights of overnight short breaks a year to around 115 families.
We also have in-house Hampshire Country Council managed residential settings which also offer overnight short breaks to families in addition to the numbers of external breaks.
We invite providers to register an interest in the potential opportunity to offer traditional Overnight Short Breaks to Children with Disabilities. An indication of interest from the market at this stage will help inform our procurement process. Please note that this PIN relates only to the externally provided overnight short breaks in residential settings.
All Hampshire County Councils procurements are managed through our eProcurement portal at http://in-tendhost.co.uk/hampshire so please register your interest via In-tend for project CS09728 Overnight Short Breaks for Children and Young People with a Disability.
